About Us

Breeders of quality warmbloods since 1995

(Shi-nook) n. 1. A warm dry wind that descends from the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains, causing a rapid rise in temperature.

Chinook Arch Farm has recently relocated from our home for the past seven years near Lexington, KY to our new property just outside Orangeville, Ontario, Canada.  Click here for a Google Map.

Our new farm is set on fifty serene acres, including 20 acres of four board double-fenced paddocks and pasture, rolling hay fields and pockets of hardwoods, evergreens and maple trees. The barn includes two large foaling stalls, four broodmare stalls and ten 14x10 stalls.

Chinook Arch Farm's breeding program is comprised of a select group of proven broodmares, all inspected and entered into the German Oldenburg Verband marebook. These mares are carefully crossed with stallions who stamp talent and most important - rideability. Check out our Bloodlines page for more details on our mares and the stallions we have chosen. We offer a quiet, safe and healthy environment for our horses and a few select mare care and foaling clients.  Contact Us for further information.

Here are a few pictures of the new farm. Enjoy!
